Meet Jeremy Serio
Culture is the worst behavior a leader is willing to tolerate.
I learned that on a 911 floor, where a bad shift does not wait for the next meeting to get fixed. I started on the console in 2007 and have led teams since 2013. I was promoted for being good at the job and then expected to lead people without anyone showing me how.
Now I teach the part nobody taught me.
I work with supervisors, managers, and the leaders above them on what decides whether a team holds or breaks: setting expectations that stick, holding people accountable without becoming the villain, having the conversation everyone is avoiding, and documenting performance so it stands up.

Few workplaces are less forgiving of weak leadership.
